Umuganda Day! (U-me-Garden Day)

Dear Trinity,
There will be a garden cleanup day this Saturday from 10-12. Come and get your hands dirty, have fun, and fellowship... all while beautifying our grounds and getting them ready for the growing season. There will be jobs for all ages so everyone is welcome! Please bring gloves, pruners, and weeding tools.
Lunch will be provided for all who come. No need to sign up - just show up ready to work!
p.s. - during this season of Lent, we are fasting “to awaken within us both a hunger for God and the hunger of God.” (A phrase taken from the Matthew 25 Initiative Lenten devotionals.) With the money that is freed up from not purchasing donuts for our Sunday fellowship time, we’re giving to SAFE Families this Lent, with whom we are actively involved. Would you consider joining us? Give to the Parish fund here. And better yet, reach out to Nicole (Nicole@trinitywenatchee.org) to learn how you can get involved.
An Introduction to Silence and Solitude
Friday, March 21 @ 7pm
Do you long to feel more peace in life? Do you long to live beyond old patterns of hurt? I invite you to an introduction to the practices of solitude and silence this Friday at 7 pm at Trinity.
We meet God in relationships, stories, experiences in nature and the arts, and reading his word. But without silence and solitude, we miss out on meeting God in one of his most transformational spaces.
Henri Nouwen equated solitude to “the furnace of transformation”, a furnace that Jesus himself entered in the desert. Are you in a desert season? Are you searching for a new way ahead? I invite you to join me this Friday night to learn more about these ancient practices.

Pastor Matt’s Face-to-Face Training Tips
Pastor Matt has recorded five short audio trainings for our small groups that help explain how to posture ourselves as we come face to face with one another. We wanted make these available not just to those in small groups, but to everyone in our church so that we can all be growing together. This week’s is on Prayer.
