Summer at Trinity: New Rhythms Ahead

Next few weeks at-a-glance:

  • Sunday, June 4: Godly Play Sunday The kids are so excited to help lead both services this Sunday. There will be a Godly Play story on the Trinity, teacher testimonies and a slideshow from our year upstairs. Finally we will send off the graduates at the end of the service after they serve communion. Let's bless our kids by filling both services with your wonderful worshipping voices! This might be just the Sunday to visit the 8:30 am service if you usually come at 9:45 am. PS - there will be a bakesale between the services to raise money for Lighthouse so bring your change and dollars to help Beatitude Kids support this important ministry.

  • Sunday, June 4 @ 6pm: last Evensong before Summer break (plus Youth Night!)

  • Sunday, June 11: Bishop Ken here for worship services

  • Sunday, June 11 @ 6pm: Confirmation Service

Join us for Summer at Trinity!

Dear Trinity, This Summer, get ready to enter some different rhythms! We’re moving to ONE 9am Service (beginning June 18th)

  • Why? During summer, with people traveling, we can often fit into one service. It’ll be nice to give some of our ministry teams a shorter morning, and of course – it’ll be great to be all together for a few months!

  • When? This will start on Sunday, June 18th (Father’s Day)

  • For how long? We are planning to transition back to 2 services on August 27th.

Coffee & Donuts - 3rd Sundays (@ Methow Park)

During June, July and August, we’ll be offering coffee & donuts once a month, on the third Sunday, down at Methow Park. Summer I Wonder (@ Walla Walla Park) Tuesdays @ 7pm - Starts June 20th

Our intergenerational I wonder nights are moving to the park for summer! Teens and adults, let’s practice being God’s kids together while we eat pizza, play outdoor games, and continue our conversations asking Jesus to teach us what He has to say about real-life topics we are facing in our day-to-day lives. Our prayer will be: Jesus, teach us as we gather on these summer nights.

Small Miracles - Lunch Program (@ Methow Park) Starts June 22 For the last 6+ years, we’ve been joining in on this local ministry that helps feed hungry children in our neighborhood by providing a healthy lunch for them. Stay tuned to learn how you can get involved! Parents Night Out Last Friday of the month (June 30, July 28, Aug 25)

Save the date for a Friday night out for encouragement, fellowship and drinks and treats! More details to come. Worship in the Parish Sunday, July 2 On this Sunday, there is no church service at Trinity because both Matt and Carson and some of the staff are on holiday. But please do attend church somewhere in the valley, or on your travels, so that we can come together on July 9 and talk about our experiences. Let’s keep finding ways to be part of the wider body of Christ in the world, and to keep learning from our brothers and sisters!
