Dear Trinity Church,
Once again this summer from June 24th - August 1st we have the opportunity to assist the Small Miracles lunch program by serving meals to kids in our neighborhood at Methow Park.
A minimum of two leaders are needed each Monday through Thursday to serve pre-prepared sack lunches, sit face to face, engage in conversation, be a listening ear, and show the love of Jesus to our young neighbors and sometimes their care-givers.
If you are seeking a way to be the hands and feet of Jesus this summer, please consider signing up to volunteer for this special program. Volunteers are required to attend a short online training session with Small Miracles executive director, Linda Belton.
Training Dates (on Zoom):
Sat, June 8 @ 10:30am
Mon, June 10 @ 5pm
Tue, June 18 at 4pm

Pilgrimage
Join Father Matt in walking a pilgrimage from Trinity Church to the waters of the Icicle River near Leavenworth. The journey begins Sunday June 16th and ends Thursday June 20th.
What is a pilgrimage and why should you join? A pilgrimage is a journey to a holy place, a remembering of our relationship with God. In this case, the holy place is the Clifton Meadow, a sacred peninsula encircled by the Icicle River. And our relationship with God is as His beloved sons and daughters.
Can’t commit to the full five days? Consider joining just for a day.
Can’t make it for a day? Consider joining the pilgrims on one or more evenings around camp as they recount stories and rest tired feet.
Fellow pilgrims, it is time to walk!

Ingalls Creek Interns are Here!
Each summer, we welcome four Ingalls Creek interns to Trinity Church as they worship with us on Sundays and serve our parish alongside us during the week. This year, they are serving at Small Miracles, Pinnacles Prep, Upper Valley MEND (gleaning program, community cupboard) Cornerstone, and The Dwelling Place (both are adult family homes for the developmentally disabled). You can read more about them below. And make sure to look out for them on Sundays to introduce yourself and make a connection!
Lydia McNelly is going into her junior year at Whitworth University and is delighted to be serving this summer as a volunteer! She has been given the opportunity through the Summer Fellowship Program at Whitworth to serve at Ingalls Creek Enrichment Center and Pinnacles Prep. She is majoring in elementary education and minoring in music as she strives to be a general or music teacher.
My name is Brynn Jaklich. I’m from Spokane and will be a sophomore at Whitworth in the fall, studying Math and Theology. I’m an introvert, but I love people and I’m excited to get to know members of the church!
Madeline Kociela is entering her senior year at Boise State University majoring in elementary education. This summer she will be volunteering and working alongside our friends living at cornerstone and dwelling place. She enjoys outdoor adventures and is exciting to be here this summer!
Quincy Rigg just graduated from Whitworth University with a Bachelor’s in Community Health. She recently returned from a semester abroad in Guatemala and Costa Rica. This summer she will be volunteering at Upper Valley MEND with their gleaning program and their community cupboard. She is so excited to be here this summer!

If you have a personal need (like a job, or housing, etc.), an event you’d like to promote, or something you’d like our church body to be aware of, you can email hello@trinitywenatchee.org for us to review before posting.
There are some updates to Jill Gentry's health journey at her Give in Kind Website. Included there is the opportunity to give financially via Venmo or Go Fund Me. The Gentrys have reached a point where financial assistance would help keep all the paths toward healing through traditional or alternative medical care open.
