New Service Times Start This Sunday

Dear Trinity Church,

Merry Christmastide! My prayer for you in this season is that you would experience a "long, slow Christmas" in the words of K.C. Ireton. That the revelation of Jesus Christ would gradually unfold before your eyes as you fix your sight on Him.

This Sunday

On January 2nd, we pick up our series on the Book of Revelation. And please note that our service times have now moved later by half an hour!

NEW Times: 8:30am mask optional 9:45am mask required

Year-End Giving: Building & New Hire

Trinity Church, thank you for your generosity in 2021! We have a lot before us in 2022. Please consider giving more than your annual tithe as we face the purchase of a building as well as hire a new staff person. You can give online or write a check and mail it to P.O. Box 2598, Wenatchee, WA 98801.

12 Days of Christmas

If you need some help and guidance for how to inhabit this season, Julia's links from last issue are really helpful. Here's a couple of them:

  • Twelvetide is an extensive resource for observing Christmastide with activities, Scripture, prayers and carols for each day.

  • Anglican Compass has a wonderful page about the 12 days of Christmas describing the history, the feasts and ideas for celebrating

Volunteer in the New Year

We Are Growing! A few Sundays ago many of you indicated your interest in helping with children's ministry and coffee and tea on Sunday mornings. If you missed the chance to fill out a blue card saying "Tell me more!" please sign up here to let us know you may be interested in helping with these two important ministries.

Newcomers Dinner: Saturday, January 8th

If you are new to our church in the last year, and haven't attended one of our newcomers dinners, we'd love to meet you and share stories around a dinner table at a host home in our parish. Come meet other newcomers as well as one of our pastors and staff members, and find out how you can take the next step in your path to belonging at Trinity Church. RSVP here. This one will be a small dinner, so if it's already full, please do join the waiting list, and we'll make sure to get you on the next one, which won't be far away...

Epiphany Bonfires: Sunday, January 9th

This Epiphany (which is actually on January 6th, but we typically celebrate it the following Sunday), we are gathering in backyards and homes around the parish to tell stories about what God has done in our lives. These simple gatherings will give you the chance to connect with each other and reflect on last year by SHARING a favorite verse from Revelation, REMEMBERING something meaningful that happened in your life during Advent, and NAMING one hope for our church/and for yourself in 2022. If you'd like to host a gathering, please connect with Fr. Carson at 509.881.7737.

Christ be with you!
