We are a church that has struggled through many changes in our brief 20 years.
Originally planted in 1996 as a pioneering church of the CREC (Confederation of Reformed Evangelical Churches), by 2012 there were many relational and doctrinal tensions in our church that were causing a major rift in our leadership.
It was decided that the best of several painful options was to let some people go plant another church, leaving a remnant of people behind. By God's grace, all sides have trusted in His creative power to redeem our shortcomings and sins.
In 2013, Matt Canlis was called from a rural parish in Scotland to pastor Trinity Church, teach us about parish ministry, and together discover our part in God's mission to Wenatchee and the world. In 2014, the CREC voted to remove us from their membership (over the CREC Memorials regarding science and education). This journey has been humbling for all, but we feel freshly dependent upon the Spirit and upon one another to discover the Father's love as we follow where Jesus leads.
We are on a new adventure.
